25 Years Behind the GM Screen, and Still Taking Notes
I’m Aaron. I’ve spent 25 years running tabletop games and almost as many years drawing the characters who show up at the table.
TTRPG supplements aren’t scarce. You can find a hundred maps, a thousand NPC generators, and more homebrew subclasses than anyone could read in a lifetime. I’m not claiming this shop found some gap nobody else noticed. What I have is time in the seat: 25 years of watching a session go sideways, fixing it live, and keeping whatever fix actually worked. This is my attempt to hand that back to a community that’s given me more good nights than I can count. The shop, the gallery, the community, and the table all come out of that same pile of notes.
Here’s where each one goes.
Want something to run tonight’s session with?
The GM Resources Series: printable prep tools built around a real idea, decide what’s already in motion instead of scripting how it ends. Five products so far, $4.50 to $11, instant download, print at home.
Want your character drawn by someone who’s spent 23 years doing exactly that?
Hand-drawn tabletop portraits, no AI involved anywhere in the process. Booking, waitlist, and payment protection all run through Artistree, so the whole thing is handled the moment you commit.
Want other GMs to talk prep with?
The DM Prep Skool community. Small and early right now, four members, but free to join and growing in the open instead of behind a paywall.
Want to actually sit down and play?
A paid table, run by Aaron himself, on StartPlaying. Five stars across 49 reviews, a Top GM badge, 909 games hosted and counting.
